About  Us

Magnolia Manor Miniatures was established in 1999 with the purchase of one miniature horse.  Reflecting on the past I find that horses have long been a compelling part of my life.  The love began with a small child having a photograph taken while sitting atop a brown and white pony.  That love was encouraged by a grandmother who also loved horses and made special time to teach that child about caring for horses and how to ride. My grandmother's love and my contact with horses has given me a wealth of warm memories and much happiness.  

For many years we raised and showed Quarter Horses. That experience was wonderful and now we have embarked on a fantastic escapade with the world of Miniature Horses.

Our adventure with the Miniature Horse in the fall of 1999 began
The Dream, The Quest and The Challenge.

The Dream :  We began with the dream of acquiring stallions bred to be champions - with broodmares selected from among the country's best breeding programs.

The Quest :  Champions aren't just produced by luck.  They are the result of skillfully combined genetics.  Magnolia Manor Miniatures has the distinction of being able to present Alvadars Double Destiny as one of our top breeding stallions.  In our quest for horses for our breeding program we have chosen stallions and broodmares that are the result of carefully selected bloodlines which include:

Sids Rebel, Fallen Ash Scouts Good Deed,
Bond Dynamo, Orion Light Van't Huttenest, FWF Little Blue Boy,
 Rowdy, Richters Apache,
 Love Me Tender,  and L & D Scout.

Our breeding stock comes from National Grand Champion bloodlines.  Our stallions and mares have been extremely successful in the show ring,  earning Multiple AMHA Grand Championships, and Multiple AMHA Honor Roll Top Ten Awards.

The Challenge : Thus far, we have been very successful  showing our own horses.  Winning Multiple AMHA Grand Champion & AMHA Reserve Grand Champion Awards as well as Multiple AMHA Honor Roll Top Ten Awards.  We are committed to our horses and look forward to a brilliant future with The Dream, The Quest and The Challenge of breeding our stallions and mares and producing horses of National Caliber, to go forward as Champions themselves.
